Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a simple, hands-on healing method that is completely safe. A person can experience emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual healing through Reiki as it creates a beneficial effect for the whole person, allowing for relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.
Reiki is administered by a certified practitioner placing his or her hands on or above a client while they are fully clothed to facilitate that person's healing. It is based on the idea that an unseen energy flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's energy is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
